Leadership
Worship Leaders
Our inspiring and welcoming worship requires many hands working together to function smoothly. Would you like to be a part of it? We are happy to train you if you are interested!
Instrumental and Vocal Music
Assisting Ministers assist the pastor in leading the liturgy, including service at baptisms and Communion, reading prayers and carrying the cross to lead the procession in and out of worship. If you are interested in serving as an Assisting Minister, contact
Pastor Brian.
Lectors read aloud two of the appointed Scripture lessons for the day and assist with the distribution of Communion. If you are interested in serving as a lector, contact
Pastor Brian .
Ushers welcome people to worship, distribute bulletins, invite shut-ins to participate by telephone, help visitors as needed, and facilitate offering and Communion. If you are interested in serving as a friendly usher, contact
Houston Furgeson.
Table Setters, once known as the Altar Guild, prepare the bread and wine for Holy Communion, clean the Communion ware following worship, and assist the pastor with occasional needs, such as baptismal water and healing oil. If you are interested in serving as a Table Setter, contact
Monica Reichert.
Church Council & Committees
Church council and a variety of committees provide the spiritual and logistical leadership for our faith community. Council members are elected to three year terms at the congregation's annual meeting in January, as are members of the
Mission Endowment Fund Committee and the nominating committee. Other committees and task forces are much more fluid and flexibly structured; examples include justice and social ministry, stewardship,
SummerFest and finance. If you are interested in serving in any committee capacity or learning more, contact
Pastor Brian.
