Welcome to Resurrection! > February 19, 2012: February 19 - February 19 Gathering at 4 PM for new and prospective members and interested others, with an optional, but yummy dinner provided at 6 PM. The gathering includes a brief introduction to Lutheranism, a survey of the past-present-future of Resurrection, socializing, and an optional tour of the facility. Please notify the church office if you are interested by February 16th so that enough food and packets can be prepared. Childcare is also available upon advance request.

Resurrection's 20/30 group invites you to join in at a night of ice skating at The Rink at Wrigley (just west of the stadium off Clark Street). We'll skate until we're cold or tired (rink is open until 9), then head across the street for refreshments.

January's Stewardship theme: God calls us to be good stewards of our neighbors.

Join our stewardship team this January in remembering that God calls us to be good stewards of our neighbors, especially those in the most need. Throughout January, we will collect items for clients of the Lakeview Pantry:

January 15: "No-cook" food items such as individual serving cans of tuna, fruit, pasta, peanut butter, etc.
January 22: Canned meals: soups, stews, etc.
January 29: Canned ingredients: tomatoes, fruit, potatoes, mushrooms, etc.
February 5: "Kitchen Sink": bring it all and make up for any Sundays you missed.

Mark your calendars now for Resurrection's Annual Meeting on Sunday, January 22, 2012 immediately following the single combined worship service at 10:00 AM. As is our custom, a potluck luncheon will follow the meeting. All are welcome to attend.
